Sunday blues...

Well, not really blues..... just want to get out of here and do something - but what is there to do?  I'm not a big fan of shopping, although I do need to go to Ross, but hubby kind of has me blocked in the garage.

Just cut out half of page of griping  Sure am trying to get better at that - not doing it, that is.  At least on this blog. :-)

My sister brought her hubby home from the hospital yesterday and he is doing well.  I called her a bit ago and she was out shopping with our niece.  At least someone gets to go out and go shopping.  I could call my daughter, I suppose, to see if she wants to - but I really don't NEED to go shopping.  I could go to Ross and pick up a couple things I want to get, but there isn't anything we need.  I'm still getting rid of a lot of things.

I still have a little bit of butter pecan ice cream - perhaps I should just go get it.  But Sheeba knows when I get in the freezer, SHE has ice cream in there and she wants it.  ALL of it.  I give her about 1/4 cup of vanilla in her dish and she loves it.  I can't have an ice cream cone - I kid you not - she will take the cone - literally - out of my hand and eat it.

DANG!  and here she is!  I heard Sheeba in the other room so I snuck to the freezer to get my ice cream - and come back to find her next to my chair.  She doesn't get any of my butter pecan.  And I have to 'get rid' of it today cause I want to start this new exercise program and diet.  Well, the diet just may start tomorrow.  What I don't eat of this - will get put in the trash.  I'm the only one who likes butter pecan ice cream.  Sheeba likes anything.

No, I still haven't started walking Sheeba yet in the mornings  - and I really should.  It would be good for her and for me.  I've just gotten really lazy for some reason, and I need to get over it.

Guess I don't have anything to share on here today.... I want the TV off.... I want silence!!   I think I'm going to go ahead and get that headset my brother told me about.  It's a little pricey, but he says it blocks all sound.  I may live with it on.  Will have to check in to it more.  I have it saved on my amazon smile.  Just haven't gotten around to buying it yet.

Pastor Jentezen Franklin, before his message today, called for a 21 day fast.  You can fast however you want - a meal, a food, an activity - or do the Daniel Fast - whatever you want to give up.  But the purpose is to pray and ask for God's intervention in the Coronavirus pandemic and with the election coming up in 100 days, we definitely need to pray that the right person wins.  I am afraid, and you should be too, if a certain someone should win.  He should be afraid.  Depending on who he gets for his VP, he could be dead in 3 months and the VP be President.  Just saying.   So I plan on doing that - not sure what I will give up yet but I have a little time to think about it.  The fast will be August 1 through August 21 - yep - over my birthday and our anniversary vacation.  I'm thinking we may do the Daniel Fast because well, I erased what I wrote  but that's ok.]

Cox Cable came out this morning and got the TVs fixed so that we can watch movies.  On the big TV the cords were reversed.  I will need to figure out my VCR, but the DVD is working.  They told us they couldn't hook up our dvd and vcr - only check on the TV. Two minutes later, it was working.  I'm so glad.  Every single night of wheel of fortune and two episodes of Steve Harvey and I'm done.  I've got to get my movies back on so I can keep my sanity!  It reminds me of my parents - sit and watch TV (and mom crocheting!) every.single.night.   When the TV is off, at least i can read some.

Ok - rambled on enough.  Hope that you are having a good Sunday.  Maybe I'll have something good to talk about tomorrow.

Blessings!
