It's amazing that with all the boxes in the garage, Hubby cannot find 'his' boxes. After all, that is all he is unpacking, HIS things. So I went out in the garage and just checking around found 5 that had his name on the box. I guess that he must have finished those as he asked if I wanted him to put my books in the bookcase. I had told him we could put our books together rather than keeping separate. So here he comes and sits down. I need to rest for a few minutes. Then, can you come look at this stack and see if you want to keep them? I don't think you want to but won't throw away your things. So I get up and go look. Yeah, most I could throw away, but he had already irritated me, so I told him I wanted to keep it all. After all, I am working today so really don't have time to go through things. His comment? I don't know why you are keeping that stuff. It doesn't matter if he doesn't know why. I said I was keeping it until I'm ready to throw it away. Which may be later today, tomorrow, next week, or even next month!
The son-in-law and grandson are over today installing new doorknobs on the doors and adding outlet covers. Not sure what else they are plannign to do. Grandson got hubby's computer up and running today as when they were trying to yesterday, hubby didn't know where he packed the cord to the PC. :-)
The house is slowly coming together. We are getting the furniture placed where we want it and should get our washer and dryer either today or tomorrow. They are ready to be picked up. The refrigerator should come in soon - well, about a week or two, I think. This place will be really nice once it's all fixed up. I hope I live a long time so that I can enjoy it.
Just sent hubby to weinerschnitzel to pick up some dogs for lunch. He left his phone here so I walked out to the sidewalk as he made a u-turn to go the other direction. I'm waving his phone at him - and he just kept on driving. I hope he doesn't have any questions about the order cause he can't call us. It's clouding up outside - maybe we are going to get some rain. It seems to be a little cooler here than at our former home. We sat outside last night for about 1/2 hour or so and it felt so nice out. The moon lit up our little patio and it was so relaxing. Even Sheeba laid down at our feet while we were out there. She is missing her morning walks and since I am off work tomorrow I hope to take her for a walk so that I can get an idea of the layout of the neighborhood. We found an easy way to the grocery yesterday (thank you, Siri!).
This weekend we will also find the dog park, and who knows what else!
Have a great weekend!
