Yipes. As I cleaned out a few boxes yesterday I found some (definitely not all - considering I've been writing in journals for around 30 years or so) and found numerous journals. I grabbed them and brought to my "office". I haven't started to go through them yet, or what exactly I am going to do with them, but I plan to skim (definitely not take the time to read) each one and do something with some of the writings.
What could I do? I'm thinking - and will need my son's help in getting it set up cause I still need to separate blogs - but I'm thinking I may just take one of the blogs and change the name - (perhaps Random Journal Thoughts?) - I could take the Random Thoughts and change the heading - and as I go through the journals could put the date I wrote it and type from it whatever I want to share. I always would want to share the good stuff. Then I can shred the journal. No reason to keep them anymore anyway.
It is already 11:30AM and I have gotten a lot done, but I think it's time for a break. I've been sitting here since about 7AM-ish, I think - with just a couple breaks. I have a meeting today from 1-4PM that I have to take minutes at so will not be up out of my chair except for one break.
It's a good thing that I like my job. I mean, I really do like my job. I love my bosses. I think occasionally about retiring after the first of the year, but I kinda like the income I have cause it gives me freedom to do what I want to do. Hubby is realizing that if he doesn't make bills and keeps the bills current, he even has a little extra moola. This month and next month are nice because we don't have a new house payment or HOA payment yet - I 'suggested' he put it in savings as a back up. But I don't know. We have vacation next month from Friday to Tuesday and I'm really looking forward to getting away and not having to jump on the computer to work.
Gasp - I will have to take the new laptop my son-in-law gave me just so that I can keep up on my blog, right? Not that anyone really cares, but I've finally gotten into the habit of writing something - even silly - in it almost every day.
For now - I need to take a break and find something for lunch and rest my eyes. I'll be staring at the computer literally all afternoon.
Have a good day!
