Short and Sweet

 Don't have much to share today.... I actually did write a fairly long post a little bit ago, but decided to leave it in draft mode cause it was so boring.  I know, what is the difference between this one and others, huh?  But, I decided to just leave it as it is for the moment.  

Got to meet up with a co-worker yesterday for lunch and that was fun.  What was really fun is that with walking Sheeba every morning I have managed to keep my weight down.  She has gained weight.  Oh we women notice those things!  LOL  It was so good to see her and spend an hour with her.  She is the one who always had candy at her desk and I was always raiding the dish.  I mean she had the good stuff too.  I have missed her.  She will continue to work from home in January while I will have to go to the office.

Today is the last of September - where has the month gone?  Where has the year gone?  So many have made jokes about Christmas being right around the corner, and so it is.  I've already started buying a few things but it will have to be small this year.  Too much going on and I'm doing 99.9% of my shopping online which means I'm not getting the good deals but paying full price.

Today will be a busy day as I have some things I need to get done.  Friday I will be driving down to Mesa to meet up with one of my bosses to catch up on life.  And work, of course.  I'll help her clean out her office and pick up the rest of whatever I have.  That will probably be my last trip there - the next one will be to the Central office down down.  Still have mixed emotions.

I've gotten used to walking Sheeba, and she won't get those walks once I'm working downtown.  For some reason hubby just won't walk her.  Don't understand that - she is his dog.  He told someone recently that 'he' bought me the dog so that I'd have someone to walk with.   Really?

Ok - enough of that and I need to get out of my jammies and into clothes as it is 6AM and I need to get ready to walk her.  Got to get on the computer by 7AM (ok, 7-ish).   Budget talks today for 4 of the people I support so their stress levels are over the top.  In person is always much better for these meetings, but trying to do it virtually is very hard, I'm sure.  Hope they get all they want.  Glad I'm not involved in it.
