Today will be a busy - but a good - day!

I am already declaring today will be a good day.  I'm setting my attitude that it will be a good day.  Whatever comes against me today, God has allowed to make me stronger. And smarter. And better.  My prayer is that I choose wisely how to answer and not with attitude those things that trouble me.  I will have a great day!

Why do I think I will have a great day?  Because I'm starting it out with FUN for me.  I have a great-granddaughter coming over early this morning as both sets of grandparents are out of town and she needs watched for an hour.  I'm so excited I get to spend time with her - albeit that I will also have to be working. And it's only an hour, plus drive time for mama.  I know I have to work, but hopefully I can give her some undivided attention as well.  I so much love hanging with any of my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren!  They bring my heart joy.   Hubby has left for his Bible study, so it is nice and quiet right now.  I love these mornings of no noise; unfortunately, I have to ruin it by turning on the computer and starting to work in a very short time.  It is what it is, right?

What else do I have planned besides work and watching a great-grandchild?  Well, I do need to run and pick up my combo box of fruit and veggies.  It all looks good this week so I may keep it all, rather than passing it out.  I love to share it though, so will see.  I stopped my Home Chef for a couple weeks as eating zucchini and green beans is starting to get real old.  And chicken.  LOL It's because of the menu I chose.  I've changed it up now and dropped it to two meals a week.  For us to get three meals is hard sometimes and I have tried to get all 3 in one week completed, but it sometimes isn't possible. For example, I received our last food order last Monday, I still had one left from last week.  And after 5 days they start to go bad.  Not the meat, it goes in the freezer when I get it. But the vegetables.  This is Friday, and we are going out for pizza with friends tonight. And then they want to come over and play games.  I still have two to fix.  I can possibly fix both tomorrow.  But I'm getting tired of the vegetables they have been sending.  I'm also choosing an option of sending a breakfast as well.  Hubby can eat it; I'm ok with a protein shake, or as I have been doing lately, I grab two small premier protein pancakes and then fix an egg in my Dash wafflemaker - and voila - I have a pancake and egg breakfast sandwich.  Just enough to fill me up.  Yes, I still enjoy cooking, but I hate to waste food and I've had to throw away vegetables twice because they went bad before I got to them. And that's my fault.  We do tend to either eat out or are just not hungry enough for me to fix a meal, and if we aren't hungry, why force food on us, right?

Tomorrow morning I have Needles of Hope and I have two bags of baby blankets to take.  I usually forget to grab what I've completed, but I've already put these in the car so that I don't forget.  I enjoy making them, but as I've mentioned before, I really want to get started on my quilts again.  In fact, I do need to get another baby quilt completed because, until the dna test states otherwise, we have another great grandson.  We may find out for sure within the next couple of months.  Long story that I'm not going in to.  That would make between hubby and I, we have 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.  Personally, which I also figure out in my mind, I have 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.  I think I counted that right.  They are my greatest joy in life.

Romans 12:12 (NKJV):  rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.

Yep - that is how we ae supposed to live.  We are to rejoice always in the Hope that we have in Jesus.  We are to be patient when things come against us, when people say things against us, when life is hard against us, and we are to continue steadfastly to keep praying - for all who come against us as well as the things in the world that affect us, affect those around us.

Bottom line - we belong to Jesus and the world can not take that away from us.

Wow - my time has gotten away from me and I need to jump off here and get dressed, get the computer going for work, and face the day.

Wishing you a very awesome day and that you will feel the presence of the Lord today.

Blessings!
