Running on empty

At least that is the way I feel this morning.  I am so tired.  I am thinking, though, it just may be that I was awake at 2:14AM and tossed and turned from then on out.  What woke me up? I have no idea.  But trust me, you have 'probably' been prayed for!  I tried several times to doze in my chair in here, and I may have 5-10 minutes here and there, but I still feel tired.  Have have my 'fruit and veggie' pills laid out for me to take this morning for sure as they seem to give me a bit of more energy when I take them.  I may drink an LMNT this morning as well - although I usually limit them to when I work out - but they also seem to help clear the fog from my head and actually taste good.  Is this 'old age' stuff or what in the world is going on with me?

Yesterday was a so-so day once I got it going. Had training at 7AM, then a meeting with my favorite boss at 8AM (which is always good; we catch up on fun things).  Had several meetings to schedule during the day as my male boss is back from vacation.  And with Boss's Day on Thursday, I keep looking to see what I can have shipped to my two 'chief' bosses - and really haven't been able to come up with anything inexpensive.  I may just order cookies to be sent to their homes, unless I can find something on Amazon this morning.  At least I have prime on Amazon - geez - I was looking to ship something yesterday and they were charging $17 for shipping.  Yeah, we cancelled that idea.  They may end up just getting a card - and I do that through Blue Mountain cause I pay for their membership. Sure makes it easy on me to send a card to someone - I create it and then just text it to them. It does require thought so it isn't something just thrown together. Most times I forget I have it.

Since Dr. Mark (who is now my 'new' doctor) isn't a doctor affiliated with whom I work for, he had to write out my prescriptions to be refilled. I think I have to take them down to one of 'our' hospitals and have their pharmacy fill them, and then when I need them refilled, I call the main pharmacy line that we have to use for all maintenance meds (which is what I have) and have them transfer from pick up at the hospital to their facility and then they mail my refills to me.  I think I will call them first and see if I can do a workaround.  I could take to Walgreens or CVS but will have to pay more, they will only give me a 30 day supply versus a 90 day supply.... it's just easier to 'suck it up' and get it at the hospital for less money and then have transferred to the family pharmacy to ship when refills needed. I just have to find a parking spot, find the pharmacy area, etc. at the hospital. Ugh.

I ordered groceries online at Fry's yesterday and hubby wanted to stop at the remodeled Taco Bell near there.  Ok - it would be dinner.  Sigh. Do they use real meat in their tacos?  I got the nachos (love my nachos!) and a soft taco supreme. That meat wasn't meat, I swear it wasn't! Now you may like Taco Bell, I know my daughter does, but I think I will pass on any future stops. Unless I can find something without their 'meat' on it.  Even my stomach was telling me last night that it was a bad thing to do. And I have an iron clad stomach! Maybe I can order a taco supreme without meat?  Surely they have a vegetarian side dish, right?

Anyway - back to Fry's.  We pick up the order and once home I start unpacking it.  I (thought) ordered 6 bananas. Found them in one bag.  Then I found another 9 in another bag! What??  I thought they had messed up my order, but it was me!  I don't know how I did it, but I ordered a whole bunch of bananas! So, I got to thinking.... I need to make a big batch of banana pudding!  And give it all away, of course!  I have been 'craving' banana pudding and when I went to Smart and Final a week ago, I bought a large can of the pudding and a large box of the vanilla wafers.  Did I mentally set myself up when I over-ordered bananas?   I may need to check with some people to see if they want some.  Maybe I'll do it on Friday and take to my DIL's work and let her share with her co-workers. (I was able to get rid of several strawberry pies that way last year)  I'll wait until Friday or Saturday to make it, I think. I am sure Ms. Vicky would want some; would love to take to Ms. Diane, but she may be restricted where she is. Anyway - banana pudding coming up!  I have one son traveling, but if the other two want any......

Talked to my little brother last night. He is still in the hospital and it sounds like he will be until Wednesday, at least.  They will take the cast off Wednesday and if the swelling is down, will go ahead and do surgery. If not, they may transfer him to rehab until it does go down and he can have surgery and get him out of the telemetry ward. I'm assuming that is where he is.  I told him what my oldest son had txt'd when I had shared the news with them - and he got a good chuckle out of that.  He would probably love a phone call. What else to do in the hospital, right?  He will tell you when he's done talking.

Romans 12:2 (ESV):  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

We get so caught up in the world stuff, that we find ourselves doing the 'world stuff' without even thinking about it.  Go to movies or read books that have harsh language in it, full of violence - and you will soon find yourself immune to any words spoken taking God's name in vain, or getting angry and then 'doing something about it'.  I honestly feel that because of the violent nature of some video games that it has dulled our youth to their sensitivity of reality and they easily fly off the handle and want to hit or strike back - or even kill - others because they didn't do what was expected of them. (erase) Yeah, you don't want my opinion.  Don't let games and other people tell you how to live.

We should keep our minds renewed in the goodness of God.  When we know His Word, then we know how we are to live.  We know what is right and what is wrong, and we do not allow the world to tell us what to do. Peer pressure is real and we all deal with it in some way.  But your peers do not get you into Heaven.  And I tell you what, after reading Revelation and reading some of the end-time books - I really do want to go up in the Rapture - I do not want to be left here on earth for the tribulation that will come. Jesus, take me now!  Something to think about, for sure.  Are you ready for Jesus to come back?  Will you be one of 'those' who are taken up into heaven - or will you be left here on earth to face whatever craziness that will happen?  It isn't going to be good and it grieves my heart that my 'greats' down the line may have to make decisions.... I do pray that they will have godly parents that will teach them about Jesus and show them by example how to live for Him.  To lose one of my children to the devil is unbearable for me, as it should be for you to lose one of your own to them.   Choose Jesus. Make that decision today.

And - with that - I need to get off here and on the work computer. Although I complain a lot about working, I am glad I have a job. I'd go nuts otherwise. LOL  Have a good day!

Blessings!
