You aren't going to believe this..... I can't believe it! I had typed out a substantial amount... and it just disappeared. I went to the arrow at the top that goes back, thinking that would bring it back - and it wouldn't! Maybe I just didn't need to go into such detail?..... so I guess I will just move on... but will finish the above topic...
.... and up he jumped at 9:15 and said we had to get going; he had to load my things in the car and we had to get going - by 9:20. So I turned the computer off as he loaded my things to take in the car. And off we went. After church we went straight to the daughter's and this is where it gets weird again... he helps load my things in her car and kisses me bye and off he goes stating 'no reason for me to hang around'.... I'm thinking a ball game was coming on at 1PM and he wanted to be home for it.
We had a good trip up, stopping once to grab lunch and walk around a bit Stopped at Walmart to pick up a few things as we came in to town. Love the house. It's 3 bedroom, love the layout although it is small. It is perfect for a getaway, for sure. Played games with the little one, crochet'd and then to bed. I did wake up a few times but did sleep well, for sure. I didn't get up until about 5:30AM - just because I didn't have to. It's almost 7AM now and I think everyone is still asleep - or they are just being very quiet. As I am. I haven't even had my coffee yet. Not much coffee here and we didn't buy as we didn't know what they had. But they do have a French press and a few coffee grounds. And it looks like we need to pick up more coffee when we go out today. I knew I should have brought the crio brio or whatever it is that I had meant to bring. At the last minute I changed my mind. Should of could of.... We did get English muffins and Canadian bacon and eggs.. but didn't get cheese .... can one have a mock 'Egg McMuffin' without cheese?
Not sure what is on our agenda for today. Daughter was looking at places for us to explore last night. But for right now, I am enjoying the quiet of the early morning and relish the fact I do not have to log into a work computer and start working. Maybe some day that will become a reality... but not in the near future anyway. I should play the lottery, then maybe, just maybe, I could retire.
Revelations 3:20 (NKJV): "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."
Listening to the message yesterday from Free Chapel really does have me thinking about the end times. And, Jimmy Evans stated, as we all know, we ARE in the end times. But the key to being in these end times is the question, "Are we ready to rise with Jesus in the sky during the Rapture?" Only those who are walking with Him will be raised, along with the saints that have already died and been buried. All will rise in the sky to be with Him. Are we ready? Can you even imagine coming home, expecting your spouse or child to be there - only being unable to find them anywhere? Would the realization sink in why they aren't there?
Reminds me of the sermon our pastor gave awhile back. In it he asked the question - if the Rapture came, and you weren't taken to heaven, who would you call to see if they were? And if you think you are living a 'good enough' life to get into heaven... and your child was taken and you weren't.. how would you feel? If your spouse was taken and you weren't? So many things to think about!
I hear someone moving about ... ah... I hear the littlest princess! Guess I need to get off and see about coffee. It's after 7AM and I've had no coffee!! Watch out!
Blessings!
