Unexpectedly, on Friday, I received a messenger note from someone I do not know. Never heard of them, didn't know them. I was asked "do you want to accept the message?" I paused, and decided to check it out - and I'm glad I did.
This person said they were scrolling through a ministry facebook page and my name jumped out at them, and God told them to pray for me. And pray she did, things that I needed to hear about restoration and love and hope. It was before I was to go to my medical appointment. Perfect timing. See how God works? I didn't know I needed encouragement, but He did. And I sent a note back, thanking this person for praying for me. And she responded again. I've heard of strangers sending notes like that, but I had never received one before. I've tried to think 'what' ministry facebook page I could have responded on that she would have seen my name - but I rarely post on anything so don't know what it could have been. But I'm grateful for the note for it made my day.
I have Jentezen Franklin/Free Chapel on this morning as I type this - John Hagee is to speak - third week of the Signs of the Times. It has proven to be a timely message, especially with the war going on. I sure hope that you have taken the time to go to FreeChapel.com or go to You Tube and watch these last two weeks and this week. One more week of this series and it has been amazing. I learned a lot of things that I did not know, even with reading Revelations several times!
Yesterday I got a lot done - and I was exhausted. I canned 15 pints and 3 quarts of bread and butter pickles. Plus did a run to Sam's Club to pick up more sugar and 'a few other things'. Hubby went with me and commented "I knew you weren't just going to buy sugar!" Haha - I didn't buy near as much as I would have had he not been with me!
Maria, Ms. Amy's daughter, is to arrive at the house today. This next week will be interesting, for sure. She calls me frequently when she is next door - not that I can do anything, but she just wants someone to talk to besides her hubby, I guess. LOL But, she does have work to do so maybe she will be kept busy. She plans to throw away things - but I'm not sure what other than cleaning out the cabinets and refrigerator of food that is there. I imagine all have expired anyway. It will be interesting how much of this dumpster she uses. It may surprise me.
And hubby has said that once we get home from church, he wants to change clothes and go to the gym. Of course he does. He was going to going to go with me Thursday night - then changed his mind. Said he would go Friday morning. That didn't happen either. Yesterday was the Notre Dame game (what a good game - 3 interceptions - or was it 4?!!) So now, he wants to go today. He knows I need to see Maria... and he knows I told her I'd be home between 12-1PM today to meet with her.
2 Samuel 7:22 (NKJV): "How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears."
Wow - this is a great message John Hagee is speaking this morning! Next service will be at 8AM our time- sure hope if you have read this, that you will turn it on and watch it.
There is no one greater than our God. He alone is Sovereign, He alone is Holy, Holy, Holy. There is none like Him; not in the past, not in the present, and definitely not in the future.
Seek the Lord now, for He is coming soon. Do not have knowledge without God. Read the truth, for the truth shall set you free. Jesus Christ is the answer. Period. For you, and for this nation. We have ignored and rejected Him, we must turn back to Him and follow Him.
You have a responsibility to share Jesus with your family. Take it seriously. If you aren't sure how; read. There are many books; there are many messages given on how to share with your family. Teach them to love Jesus first. He alone is Lord. Not video games, not TV shows, not jobs, not money. Jesus alone is Lord. Choose Jesus!
