Is Christ the center of your life?

 Sometimes life feels so hard, doesn't it?  We tend to always try to 'do it ourselves' - without asking anyone for help - including God!  Do you even realize how much our God wants to help us even in our daily lives?  I find myself many times throughout the day crying out "Lord, help!!" when I am trying to complete a task.  And He always answers.  Not always the way I want Him to - but He answers.

The news yesterday of Israel being attacked by Hamas has had me crying out for the people of Israel frequently.  "Lord, HELP!  Your children, Your people need You to intervene on their behalf!!"  It's so hard to even imagine the horror and things that are being done to the Israelites.  From what I understand, the very area they are going in to homes and killing the people and taking hostage others... is the area that Free Chapel has been building bomb shelters and providing for the people there.  Free Chapel is on now and I'm hoping that Jentezen Franklin will give us an update on what their sources have received.  Eschol, Israel is the place where Free Chapel has supplied for their needs -and this is where Hamas has invaded and killed and kidnapped children.  Pray, pray, and pray some more for Israel.

I woke during the night praying for Israel, and also with a major headache; bad enough I got up and took an ibuprofen - still had it when I got up, but it seems to finally be fading out now.  Hopefully it will go completely away before we head to church.

Hubby was wanting to watch the next message on the end times so it is up on his computer and I am still in my room watching it on my phone.  We're watching the 6AM service.  The next one is at 8AM.  Until November - then it goes to 7 and 9AM.  Wow - they cut the music short this morning and Jentezen is already out and sharing info about Israel.  We've done communion and now he is getting in to his message.

Read Matthew 24-25-26 - and read the entire book of Revelations.  That is what Pastor Franklin is challenging us with this week.  I have already started on Revelations this morning.  There is a powerful blessing that will come upon you as you read the entire book of Revelations.

In these scriptures, Jesus talks about the end times and what will happen.  You must read it and know what is ahead.  Just because we live in the United States of America - it doesn't mean we will not have these things happen to us. They will.  We are already in the end times.   Please read these chapters in your Bible and stay alert to what is happening in our world.  

Imagine your home being invaded and your children being taken captive and you or your spouse killed ... this is what the Israelites are going through.  It seems so unreal - and yet - it is happening now.   We don't want to imagine this horror and terror.  But the question comes back -

ARE YOU READY?  When your body is destroyed - will your soul go to heaven or hell?  When the Rapture comes, will you be raised up with Jesus or will you be left here on earth to go through the tribulation?  Life is hard, but we are still called to be ready.  Have you fallen away from church, from Jesus, from your family, from morals and values?  The hour and day we do not know of when Jesus will return to gather His own.... are you ready?   It will be an ordinary day.... you will be doing what you do every day... but will you be ready....

In 1948, the nation of Israel was given the land.  The Jews started coming from all over the world to the land that God gave them.  It is the rebirth of the 'fig tree' that is discussed in Matthew 24.   God will fight for Israel.  But we, as God's people, are called to pray for Israel.

I know my thoughts are rambling all over the place this morning as I am listening to the message, interrupted by hubby because he 'lost' it on his computer and I had to bring it back up - but I hope you will pause and take the time to read the Word in Matthew and read the Word in Revelations.  I challenge you.  And I challenge myself.

May 14, 2018 - the embassy was completed in Jerusalem.  We recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel.  Wow - you should hear the prayer of John Hagee on that day!  Powerful!  Israel lives!

Jesus has said He will return.... the Rapture is about to take place.... are you ready?
