This may be short....

I'd like to leave in about 30 or so minutes to head over to my daughter's to help with her yard sale - and yes, I'm taking my work computer for when I'm not needed, I will be working.  I'm praying a lot will get sold and tomorrow will be a short day.  I didn't see any reason to take today off work so will work throughout the day as needed.  Sue and Brett are both at outside meetings so that is a big help. Although I have some 'carry over' work from yesterday to do as well.

We had a good day yesterday.  My oldest son came over for a visit and I sat on the couch and enjoyed it. I did get up a time or two to check messages for work.  I helped Ms. Vicky attend the 'community gathering' yesterday afternoon in our community area behind us.  I use work as an excuse.  I don't know what hubby's 'problem' is - since he resigned from the HOA, he refuses to attend any gatherings - although he has said he is going to the board meeting - whenever that is.  I don't understand him.  There was a nice group out there and if I didn't work, I would have stayed.  Plus I had a 4:30PM with Morgan so I couldn't have stayed long anyway (it went from 3-5PM).  Hubby sometimes has an 'attitude'.

I contacted our friends Mike and Linda and met them at Black Bear for dinner after I worked out.  It's always fun to run into them - and we laugh because even when we don't plan to get together - sometimes we end up running into them at the restaurant we go to.  The last time was the getaway the first of January when we went to the Staybridge hotel - and went to Cracker Barrel for dinner - and they walked in.

Hubby is getting ready for his bible study this morning and will be leaving in about 15-20 minutes.  Then I'll need to get ready and get out of here as well.  I want to get set up... I probably said all that in the first paragraph.  Sorry - my mind is all over the place this morning over things I want to do today and work and needing to go help my daughter and, and...

My youngest son is having a visit from DCS today - and I am praying we can get our great-granddaughter returned to us.  I so want to have a relationship with all my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  It's really important to me - but as you know, sometimes hubby makes it difficult for me.  But I push through when I can.  I told him that when he dies I'm going to throw a party and celebrate.  He didn't like that and was actually furious that I'd say that.  But then I had to explain - it wouldn't be celebrating him being gone - but that I would be 'free' to do whatever I wanted to do.  Does that make sense?  I will have great-grandchildren here as often as I can for as long as I can!  Which means I really need to move from this 'old people' area .... but then, as long as they are in my house, they don't know who is here, right?   I've never seen any young children out playing - these old people just stay in their houses.   I would love to move a few miles closer to family so that they will drop by occasionally.  I get it - we are out a ways.

I read another good devotion today and would like to share it, but as I mentioned, I am short on time today.  I don't like to be rushed when I want to make a point.  Sort of like the No Plan B devotion that I still want to share.  Maybe next week I can relax and get it in.  Or I could just write an additional post some day, right? You never know what I will do.

SO since I'm rambling, and time is getting away from me - I'm shutting up.  I need to get dressed and get out of here.  I hear hubby coming in - he's getting ready to leave.

And I am off here.  Have an amazing day - and hopefully I will share some things tomorrow that make sense.

Blessings!
