Am I dangerous now?

Some time yesterday I heard the Fed Ex truck pull up in front of the house.  I heard the gate open.  The doorbell rang.  Not really unusual for Fed Ex; they are pretty good at letting you know they have delivered a package.  Hubby opened the door and I could hear talking.  I get up to go see what was going on.  I had a package being delivered.  The elderly man (I say 'elderly' because he was white-haired and wrinkly) held a small package in his hands and then very carefully laid it on the cabinet by the door.  When I got to the door, hubby says "there is a package for you".  Ok... so what's the big deal?  The Fed Ex driver says it is a 'dangerous' package, and asked me "have you ever received a 'dangerous package' before?  "No", I responded.  He showed me the paper where it was labeled as 'dangerous'.  I looked to see where it was from; didn't ring a bell.  I order things all the time, as you know, and many times I don't know where they come from.  Don't recall ordering anything 'dangerous', though.

I had to sign for the package!  The Fed Ex driver handed me the paper he had showing it was a 'dangerous' one.  He was very concerned that I was receiving a 'dangerous' package and not knowing what it was.  So after he left, I decided to open this 'dangerous' box to see what it was.  Are you ready for this?  Let me share a bit of backstory ....

I have worn Red Door by Este Lauder for years.  I love the fragrance and how it smells on me.  I get compliments when I wear it.  It goes good with my 'skin odor'.   BUT.... although it hasn't been discontinued - yet - other Este Lauder products like Beautiful and Beautiful Pleasures and others have started moving it way down the ladder of importance.  That's the way it usually starts, and then they quit offering it.  I will continue wearing Red Door as long as I can... and I may be just imagining all this... but I decided to find another fragrance I can move to, should it be discontinued.

The fragrance is from Thomson Carter and is called Illium Blume (not looking it up; think I spelled it right).  Well, I had read an article/advertisement a couple weeks back and the fragrance was mentioned and that it was a light fragrance (which I like).  I decided to buy myself a bottle.  You can't get it on Amazon so I ordered it direct from Thomson Carter.

That was the 'dangerous' package I received yesterday.  It was flown over from LONDON, where Thomson Carter is located, I guess.  I am 'assuming' they had to label it 'dangerous' as it has a fragrance, and although securely held in place with rubber(?) foam, within a box, within a box, within a box, I guess it could explode.  (The Fed Ex man warned me to keep it away from fire or very heated areas)  I got it opened and decided to try it.  Well, it is strong enough I think this is one that you spray it in the air and then move into the mist, versus spraying on the body.  It does have a nice fragrance, having jasmine in it. I just thought it was hilarious, yet can understand why the 'dangerous' wording on the shipping papers... and that poor man was probably terrified handling it and couldn't wait to get rid of it!   So the question remains...

When I wear this eau de perfum does it make me 'dangerous'?

I actually had something 'fun' to tell you about this morning.... but now time is getting away from me and what else can I share quickly?

Hubby has his kidney doctor appointment this afternoon and I will be going with him with the book I am taking to write everything down in.  It isn't that far away, and hopefully we can get in on time and get out fairly quickly.  I know Dr. Mark had to fax hubby's kidney records to this doctor BEFORE they would schedule the appointment (seriously!) so the kidney doctor should have the abdominal ultrasound, the blood tests, and whatever else is needed for some diagnosis of what is going on within hubby's body.  His fear (or showing it) has subsided somewhat, but I imagine it will be in full force as we head to the office.  I am believing that all is well.  Hubby has been drinking - for him - an enormous amount of water.  Still drinks his Dr Pepper when we go out to eat though.  (Can you believe they are charging $4 now for sodas, teas, etc.?) Sometimes I will drink a Diet Coke, but more often than not, I order water with lemon.  Sometimes need the Diet Coke to clear the flam in my throat. Some of you will understand that reason.

I had a moment of panic at 4PM last night.  I was still on the work computer.  About 3:45PM, my boss sent me an email with the question of 'what happened?'.  Puzzled, I read what she sent.  We had to do a 'declaration' of remote work, that this is where I work, (remote), etc.  All I have to do is click on 'I accept' and that should take care of it.  Yes, I noticed where it said it was switching from one system to another due to whatever. Didn't think it would affect me.  I clicked 'I accept' about a week ago.  Well, this email said my remote work was over at 10/1/2025 and I could click on such and such link to return equipment.  WHAT??  I'm searching to find out if I clicked on the wrong link - when my computer goes black.  I was taken off the system.  WHAT???  I grabbed my phone and texted my boss that I had been 'kicked off' the system.  That got her attention too!  Then about 30 seconds later, my system came back up.  I remembered what I had read about them changing systems so figure that is what happened. They had to take me down to get me out of the old program and then back up to get me in the new program. Whew.  And I didn't feel alone... she had also received emails on her other direct reports so it wasn't just me.  I guess it would depend if one was still on their computers. I only work until 4PM (or thereabouts) so it happened to me then.  Her other direct reports work until 5PM. I wonder if they noticed theirs shut down and came back up.  Hmmm.

I'm rushing about now because I still need to jump in the shower this morning.  Guess that this is all you will get today.  Tomorrow morning is Needles of Hope.  But, unless I oversleep, I will have time to write. :-)

So with all this rambling - and funny stuff - I'm signing off for today.  Hope that you have an amazing day.  Oh - my youngest and his wife made it back home around midnight last night.  They have been gone for almost two weeks, I think.  Not that I ever see him...  but I love him touching base with me every day and telling me where they are and where they are heading.

Gotta go -

Blessings!

Issues with work stuff...

I did not get much done for work yesterday, although my intent was to do so.  Microsoft had (or still has) problems and even though they did two 'quick fixes', whatever is wrong didn't get fixed.  I tried to schedule appointments and end some series and start new ones - and it started doubling the meetings and wouldn't end the series.  So I quit doing that project.  With my male boss out yesterday, and only receiving one meeting from my favorite boss, I just didn't do much else.  I could have done the minutes from the board meeting, I'm thinking, but I can't remember why I put it off.  I think I started to, then got involved in a conversation with my sister, who had called me.  I got the distinct feeling that if I have anything to do with her feud with her 'former' friend (daughter of her best friend), it would end our 'friendship'.  No I haven't reached out to this person, but she sent me a text yesterday with a photo and said she had made these things for my sister, and now all the leftover supplies are missing.  That's all she said.  I know she has accused (per my super sensitive sister) my sister of taking things from her house and other things to where my sister has blocked her.  I'm not involved in that nor do I plan to be.  Some things don't add up, but I'll leave that there.  Anyway - after getting that photo and the text.... I just typed 'I'm sorry'.  What else could I say?  What the ex-friend did not realize is that she had chosen a text that had my little sister attached to it.  Do we say 'oops'?   I never noticed; but because she was blocked on my sister's phone, and I wasn't (yet), the post came up on her phone that I posted 'I'm sorry'.  My sister txt'd me, and I didn't read it so she called me and demanded to know what I was telling this person I was sorry about.  And then got to hear some of the issues again.  I'm not involved in that. And I told her that I am sorry this person is missing things - regardless of who she is accusing.

Hubby survived his first training session with my trainer and has another one at 7:30AM this morning. Morgan said he started in on that he couldn't do squats, etc. and she told him she has a master's degree in whatever it is she needs to do this, and she had notes from his trainer, plus I had told her of his issues, so he settled down.  She did legs.  Tee hee.  She made him push the sled.  But she also complimented him that at 87 he has a lot of strength (and he does) and he is stronger that many men his age.  That boosted his ego some, as it does mine when she tells me 'for my age' I am pretty strong.

I suppose I need to physically check what I have on hand to make everything for Thursday.  My oldest son has supplied everything they are contributing - which is nearly everything.  I need to double check to make sure I have what I need for my part.  I need to make dressing today for my daughter to take home tonight so that it can go on their trip in the morning to New Mexico, and I plan to cut up everything (my contribution) but they need to put together and add the turkey broth to it.  As I do that, I can see what else I need to have, at least for that and the gravy.  My son said he was doing a run to the store this morning so if I needed anything, he would get it for me.  Grateful.

It's hard to believe this is the end of November (this week).  I have Thursday and Friday off, then I'm taking Monday and Tuesday off next week, working Wednesday, have a company Christmas luncheon on Thursday (for which I need to take a couple gifts and cookies for the potluck) so that day is a non-work type day, and then I'm off on Friday to go to the Christmas Idea House with my favorite boss. It's an annual thing (about six years now!) and she considers it part of my Christmas gift as she buys the tickets for us to have brunch (about $60 each!) and then we shop.  Sunday starts December - time is still flying by! and Monday I'm having lunch with my 'oldest best' friend Melonie, and will take her some bread and jam for Christmas, plus a gift I have for her.  Tuesday I have an early appointment with the dermatologist to do a biopsy on the back of my neck.  It's so little I hope he can find it.  A busy week, but most will be play.  Then the mad rush to get everything done as time that has flown by all year will continue to fly by.   I still have so many gifts to purchase!  Most of the adults don't have anything yet - I know they don't care, but I do.

I didn't sleep well last night.  Talk about imagining weird things.  Remember the bug bites I got back in October?  The redness went away, the itching stopped, the pain stopped.  I don't normally look at the inside of my leg but I felt something there a few days ago so looked at it - and discovered the 'bite bumps' are still there.  They have never faded into the skin.  Is that odd?  I think so.  Anyway, over the past week, there have been a couple times that I have felt a 'pin prick' in that are.  I shrug it off.  But it woke me (again) during the night last night with that 'pin prick' that I felt when I got bit.  This morning it is burning somewhat.  But anyway, during the dark night, because I refused to open my eyes and turn on a light to check, weird thoughts came to my mind.  Did the bug that bit me numerous times bury eggs in my skin and the eggs are 'hatching' their way out?  I told you it was weird!!  All these stupid, crazy thoughts ran through my head and kept me awake last night - and I still refused to get up and look! I will check it out this morning as it is still feeling weird in that area.  Could be I'm overthinking it, you think?  I have been thinking that I may go to my medical doctor and have her check it.  That was thought last week because I have been awakened with sharp left him pain and pain radiating down my thigh - and one night in to the calf muscles.  That left hip pain and the pain radiating down my thigh was what started the night I got bit and woke me up, besides the bites I mean.  Is there a connection?  I don't know.  But with the bites not going away and the hip/thigh pain continuing on occasion, it does make me wonder if I need to have a medical doctor take a look.  Urgent care doctor said scorpion bites and didn't do anything but give me a 10 day prescription.  The dermatologist looked at it; took photos; and gave me a 7 day prescription to take along with the first one, giving me instructions if infection spread to go to ER.  The follow-up visit he gave me another 5 day prescription and a cream to help with itching.  But what happens now?  It's six weeks later and some things are still happening. Is it time to go to my PCP and break my once a year visit?  Could be.  I may stall a bit yet.  All of this is weird, right?

I finished the one quilt I was making, and got started on another last night.  I tried to calculate that if I work on it steadily for the next week, I should get this one finished, and then there are two small ones for the new great-grandbabies... but since neither will come until next year, I am not beating myself up to get them finished as well before Christmas.  I'd like to get one of them done, but it isn't critical. What I wanted to get done is finished.  I goofed on it and make the trim on it wrong, but when I discovered it, I just couldn't take it out and do it over.  I never have made anything perfectly perfect... I try to, don't get me wrong.  But, alas, the mistakes are my trademarks, I think.  Sigh.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV):  in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

In everything give thanks.  Do you ever think to give thanks for the difficult times in your life?  Probably not.  It's difficult to be grateful for things that cause grief or problems.  But we need to take our eyes off the circumstances, off the inconveniences, off the problems, and thank God for bringing them, for through them we can change things; perhaps the way we think or do things; and see His big picture in all of this.  It's difficult, I will admit, to thank God when I'm upset with hubby over something he did - or didn't do.  But, truly, is it really something that I want to hold a grudge against?  Even when things said or done to me are true, I still learn from what others think and feel.  Does that make sense?  Life is hard, and none of us are perfect, by any means.  No, not even you - nor me.  We all allow our 'feelings' to overtake our senses at times.  That's why many of us get into trouble with the words we say or the actions we take.  In everything give thanks.  God allows things to happen because He wants our attention on Him, not on our surroundings, our feelings, or on other people.  We may love our families, our spouses, grandchildren - and great grandchildren.  Well, not may, we do, but if we put them before God, they have become an idol.  We should never worship anyone or anything other than God.  Not our children; our grandchildren; or even generations after.  No one and nothing comes before God.  Not our feelings, not our emotions.  God must be first in all things; not just when we think about Him.

Maybe this season of thankfulness we should sit back and think about what we have put before God and relinquish that 'worship' and give it back to Him.  Everything else is 'second place'.  Jesus is always first.  Remember the Joy saying?

Jesus First.  Others second.  Yourself last.  J.O.Y.

Thank Jesus first. He is the author and perfector of our faith.

Blessings!

It was a very quiet day

Sunday was definitely a day of rest yesterday.  We didn't go to church, but watched Jentezen on You Tube, and also 'our church' on You Tube as well. (Plus I had already watched the first service of Jentezen Franklin at 6AM.  I cooked us eggs and pancake sandwiches for breakfast while we watched.  We read in between services and I did a little bit on a Christmas project.  I cooked soup for 'linner'.  Hubby watched the football game.  I set up my kindle and watched The Chosen (some of it) on Amazon Prime.  I was still in the same room with him, but he was 'annoyed' that I would watch a movie instead of football with him.  (RME)  I stopped after one section and went back to my crocheting.  Finished up one blanket for Christmas gift and got started on another.  Then as I was getting ready for bed, remembered I need to focus more on another project than on the crocheting ones.  The other is much more time consuming and can't be carried around with me to complete.  And that's all I'll say about that.  All in all, it was a quiet day.  Last night I realized too that without going out to go to church, I have only been out of the house a couple times this week.  The gym, and maybe going to Michaels, and the birthday party - I don't even remember now.  These four walls are enclosing me again.  I kept telling myself I needed to go see Ms. Vicki - but I did not. Now it will hang over me until I do.

I don't know why I'm not waiting to get out and do stuff.  Because I have just gotten lazy?  I don't have a life anymore, it feels.  I've got to break out of this shell I've allowed to hide me in my withdrawal from life.  I don't want to be this way.  I think I'm just tired.  We went to bed about 8:15PM last night - with hubby complaining 'if I go to bed this early I will be awake at 1AM' - and yet, he followed me to bed. I was awake and up (thanks to the water I drank last night; I knew better, but did it anyway. Sigh) about 3 times from the time I went to bed to about 3AM.  Then all I wanted to do was sleep this morning.  I don't like being this way.  I've got to change.  Change my attitude, change my thoughts, change my action.  I loved my mother, but I don't want to spend my years sitting in a chair doing nothing.  I must make myself DO things, no matter how tired I tell myself I am.  Of course my iron level was a 14 when the end of the range was 15 so could that be part of it?  I get my mammogram and bone density tests completed on Thursday afternoon; perhaps I will hear from my doctor after that.  Or I could check my portal.  I just hate it when I read one of the descriptions.... 'obese'. UGH. Can't they put 'pleasantly plump'?

Today I'm back to work and have plenty to do.  I do have my gym training tonight, but only tonight this week as Morgan is going on a trip to visit her brother.  I COULD do my workout here at home, which is my preference.  I will get part of it done, anyway.  Tonight is 'legs' as usual.  I 'weeble wobble' to my car after my leg workouts.  Morgan is tough.  I will do an upper body workout later in the week here at home. I just have to suck it up and let hubby ask his questions about what I do and how many, etc.  He has to know EVERYthing about me and what I do. I have a board meeting on Wednesday that I will need to take minutes at this week too.  Oh joy.  I'm so over it.  I still need to confirm we are getting all the board members for the meeting. I meant to do it last week but was too busy - and just didn't.

Obviously my thoughts are all over the place this morning.  I just glanced over what I have already written and I've got subjects hitting all over the paragraphs.  Oh well - you can read through them, right?

I've been reading a proverb a day for my Bible reading this past week.  Today's reading caused me to back up and read it again a couple time.  I marked it up to just being 'foggy-minded' this morning and not quite alert.  But as I was looking for a scripture to write in here, I was once again drawn to part of what I read this morning in The Passion Translation.

The computer is changing everything I type into other words - weird.  I write Proverbs and it is changed to the word For.  I started typing 'wow this is weird' and it changed the word to Poetry.  I'm not laying my hands on the keyboard.  Let's see if I can get it now - it seems to be working better.  Nope - it's doing it again.  Weird.  I wonder if I put it in a paragraph that it won't change.

Proverbs 5:21-23 (TPT)  For God sees everything you do and his eyes are wide open as he observes every single habit you have. Beware that your sins don't overtake you and that the scars of your own conscience don't become the ropes that tie you up. Those who choose wickedness die for lack of self-control, for their foolish ways lead them astray, carrying them away as hostages - kidnapped captives robbed of destiny.

Not sure what is going on with my computer.  If I start a new paragraph it changes the words but if I continue in a paragraph, they type right.  What is going on?

Anyway, the scripture above caused me to go back to it a few times and read it.  I thought about the habits I have - some good, some bad - and how I sometimes let those habits rule my behavior, my thoughts, my guilt-feelings, my happy place.  Do you do that too?   I frequently talk about wanting to make changes in my life.... but then do nothing.  Same with you?  I want to be more active, and yet, because I allow certain things to prevent grievances, I don't do anything.  Or I feel I have to 'sneak' to do them. And that's stupid.  I honestly feel at times I do not have a life.  And yet - that is one of my favorite sayings to people - 'get a life'.  I'm sure you have heard me say it at some point.  Well, now I point the fingers at myself and say it.  I just sit in my corner and be quiet.  I don't like me being that way - I have become very introverted.   I think part of it is that when we have gone out and been around others, if someone is talking to me, hubby runs over to be part of the conversation, and sometimes just takes it over with his comments.  I know he just wants to be valued, but monopolizing the conversation about things he did 50 plus years ago (how is it he can remember working that far back and yet will ask me, as he looks at the chicken on his plate for dinner will ask, "Is this chicken?"  I struggle to hold back to make a smart aleck comment like 'no, it's liver'.  This isn't a once in awhile comment; it is very frequent, asking what an item is.  Is it to make me talk to him?  As I said, I have become an introvert and don't talk much.  He's noticed and commented on it when around other people. I'm not talking as much around others (unless it is about a book I read and then I get told I monopolized the conversation). Lord, HELP.

And with that - oh my goodness - NOW it is letting me start a new paragraph!  Without changing my words!  What in the world was going on with my computer?  The last 4 paragraphs every time I started it - the words changed as I typed.  And now - well, I reckon I had better get off while it's working. Nothing to share anyway - just my usual ramblings.

And it is starting to do it again (third time starting this paragraph).  So I will hush.  Don't let your habits overtake your life.  Be in control of your words, of your actions.  I'm also speaking to myself here.  I need to become alive again.  And sometimes all one can do is pray and trust that God will open up ways for you to breathe, to talk, to be who He created you to be.  Free.

Blessings!

In the midst of the storm....

There is a saying that my mother used to say frequently.  This morning I read it in my Bible reading.  Mother always said.... "Red sky at night, sailors delight.  Red sky at morning, sailors take warning."  What did it mean?  Simple.  If the sky was red at night, that meant the next day would be nice and calm.  But if the morning brought a red sky, it would be a rough day on the water.

In Matthew 16:1-4 (NJKV)  Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.  He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.  A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." And He left them and departed.

Arizona has some very beautiful sunsets.  One can go out and look and see the beauty and feel the Presence of God just in the beauty of what we see.  Others don't even noticed the majesty of beauty God is painting just for us.  When I see a beautiful sunset - or sunrise - I love to pause my life for a few minutes just to take in its beauty and thank God for painting the sky.... and sometimes I'll even say, "just for me".  Sometimes I need just a moment of beauty to remove the struggle of what I'm going through at that time. Have you noticed that?  When struggles, disappointments, discouragements come.... when you see the beauty of the sky, the sound of a grandchild's voice, the laughter of a child..... all of a sudden you can find joy in that moment.   Think back over the past few days.... have you been discouraged and disappointed with life.... and something has come to give you that moment of joy?

I don't know about you, but I live for those moments.  Last week was a tough week at times, discouraging, disappointing.... and yet, I was able to have our granddaughter over for a couple days and my heart began to sing again.   I believe that God gives us these little things to bring us joy and help us through tough times.

Yesterday was a tough day, but it wasn't so much about me.  My work laptop computer decided to go black.  I have a monitor hooked up to it and I could work with the one screen, but the laptop was black.  Could not get a screen up.  I would restart and it would come up, then start streaking and flashing, come up on the monitor and the laptop screen would go black again.  At 8AM I was on the phone with IT.  I was made very happy for I thought I may have to do a trip to Mesa.  I really hadn't thought of it, but my company has a couple hospitals and other office buildings right in this little city in which I live.  They have to have IT readily available to them for their needs - so we have a few IT offices here!  I never would have thought of it - always just thought IT would be at the corporate offices only.  I only had to drive about 5 miles to one of the locations to have my computer looked at.

After working online with two IT people and nothing working, a third IT person called me and suggested I bring the computer in and they'd swap it out for me.  I went down about 11AM.  He tried checking my computer to see what was going on.  It wouldn't come up, but flashed the screen and streaked it.... so he decided that perhaps he could just swap out the screen.  He came back a few minutes later that no, he couldn't, so he proceeded to move information from my computer to this other one.  That took awhile because I also need visio and adobe pro added.  It's separate because they are licensed programs.  Then he uploaded Microsoft 365 as that is what we are using now.  Teams would not load.  He uninstalled Microsoft 365 and reloaded it.  Still Teams would not load.  I use Teams on a daily basis and we use it for meetings so I did need it.  He had to go to a meeting that I had already made him late for, so I took my 'new' computer and came home.

I couldn't get on our internet.  I went to hubby to confirm the password.  Yes, that is the password, but it must be in all CAPITAL letters.  Ok.  So I went back and tried to input it.  Nope, wouldn't accept it.  I did this several times.  I did it in all small letters.  I did just the first letter capital and the rest small.  Still would not accept it.  IT contacted me to finish working on Teams and I told them I couldn't sign in on our internet.  He confirmed it would be the password that was the issue.  I asked hubby again. He grabbed his little book of passwords and said, yes, it was all capitals.  Fine.  I get my computer and go back to the the office so that the IT person could finish getting Teams loaded.  We discussed my internet connection problem.  He checked the system and again said it had to be the password.   Once he got Teams loaded (finally!) I came back home.  It was 3:45PM and my entire afternoon had been at the office.  I asked hubby again about the passward and was assured what it was.  Then I remembered a piece of paper that he had given me when we were still at the other house and had switched from one internet service to this one.  I had come across it when unpacking and had put it on my desk in the other room.  Never thought I'd need it, but thought I'd go check it just to be sure it didn't have a number or something added to it.

Low and behold.... the password had one capital letter and the rest of the letters were small.  I thought I had used that before in all the other times I was trying to get on the internet, but apparently I didn't, for I inputted the password I found and it worked!  I got on the internet and was able to connect VPN to the office.  Hubby stood in the doorway watching me, and I told him he needed to change it in his book to make sure he has the right password written down.  He looks at me and says "Oh it's not in my book because I know what the password is."  I just looked at him.  If h had written it down and given me the correct information, it could have saved me another trip to the office and saved me some time.

No, I wasn't angry, nor even frustrated.  It's one of those times when I just throw my hands up in the air and say 'Lord, help me!'   I wonder what color the sky was yesterday morning...... :-)

We ended the day out to dinner with friends, and coming home I realized that I was completely exhausted from my day.  I hadn't really done anything, but it was the doing nothing that exhausted me.   I did work an hour after I got home, and luckily I only had one meeting to get scheduled.  Once I took care of that I was able to relax and get ready for our dinner plans.  It was a very long day, but at least I have a computer that works - I hope!  Will start in less than an hour so will see.

Life throws curves at us sometimes and we can either get angry and frustrated at it or we can 'suck it up' and just roll with it.  We can make plans to get things accomplished and the little things interfere with it.  How we react determines where we are at that time.  Are we God-centered or self-centered.  Is it all about US and our needs?  Or are we relying on God to take what is wrong and give us the peace that He will make right what needs to be done?   God's response may not be the response we WANT the situation to have, but His ways are always better.  If we look at our circumstances that way, we will perhaps not understand at that time, but when things happen, you know that God is in control.

I don't know about you, but I'm grateful that I serve a God who loves me enough to intervene in situations to make them right according to His Word.  They may not end up the way I want them too, but in time, I see His hand all over the situation.  As you know, I struggle a lot in some situations.  But it is God's hand that I hold on to in order to get through the tough times.  Yes, I still get angry, I still get frustrated, I still get hurt.  Sometimes it feels like no one cares and I fight the depression that the enemy throws at me.  I refuse to let people get me down.  Why?

Because my Hope is in Jesus.  He is the author and perfector of my faith.  He created my very being and loves me beyond all measure.  And He is your Hope as well.

Going through something?  Lean into Jesus.  He is the Rock and Foundation you need to stand on.

Blessings!
