Time.... slowly goes by....

Time. Just for fun, I googled Webster's Dictionary and chose the 1828 version - oh my. There are a lot of things said about time. I chose one.

1. A particular portion or part of duration, whether past, present or future. The time was; the time has been; the time is; the time will be.

Lost time is never found again.

Think about that last statement. Lost time is never found again. That is a very true statement, is it not? How many of us WASTE time. We don't want to do something so we find other things to use our time up so that we don't have to do that.

For example, I should be typing minutes for work - but here I am writing this blog. Now mind you, I am on my lunch break so I am not using work time. But still, I don't like minutes, I don't want to do minutes.... so instead of preparing to do minutes, here I am. I'm not "losing time" persay, cause I am being creative. I'm just not doing what I should be planning to do.

Decided to go to BibleGateway.com and see what Ecclesiastics 3:1-8 says about time...

A Time for Everything

3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
