I was awakened in the early hours this morning of both legs - not just one - but both legs aching. What is that about? I have said, and I still believe it, that whatever bit on the inside of my leg - what 4 years ago perhaps? - has done something to my body. Because it can't be seen, and of course the bug bites finally went away after a few months, I can't get anyone to listen to my issue. My left hip bone has hurt off and on ever since the bug bites. I know I have mentioned this a few times before in here. The early morning I got bit, it was the hip bone sharp pain as well as the bites that woke me up from a sound sleep at the hotel. Plus pain radiating down the front of my thigh to my knee. Move on to the present time.... I have periodic pain from that hip bone down to the knee, and even on down to the foot. All on the leg that had the bug bites. Early this morning, my left leg, AND my right leg both starting aching really bad - bad enough that it woke me up and forced me to get up out of bed. No, I haven't taken anything for it - yet... the pain has abated somewhat and I don't like to take pills - other than my vitamins - but now it is getting to where I am praying (moreso) for healing of both legs now.
Ok - since that is on my mind right now, figured I'd spit it out and get it in front of me. Something I will definitely talk to Dr. Mark about when I go for my physical in September. Unless the pain get too severe and I will make an appointment - but for what? He can't see anything. I just will need a referral - but to whom? A bone doctor? What will he/she do? They can't see anything either. Can Dr. Mark order some type of test to determine what is going on with my bones? I certainly hope it is not rheumatoid arthritis... my older sister had it for years and was in constant pain. I don't want to be that person. Unless God can use it to draw others to Him, then use me, Lord.
It's Monday and 'back to work' day. I don't have much on the calendar for today - and Morgan has me for a 10AM training. Yeah, I have let her start scheduling me during the day - and consider it pretty much my lunch break plus about 30 minutes. Sue doesn't care for I sometimes start work early. The thing is that I get my work done and that is what is important. Have a board meeting on Thursday so need to make sure that the deck is set up. Got some slides over the weekend from Compliance to insert into the deck. Oh joy.
We had a quiet day yesterday. Went to church - great message from Pastor John based on Ephesians 3:14=21. Yeah, go ahead and read it. That's your scripture for today. So - what do you think? Came home and I worked on my diamond art for a couple hours. I should have gone to visit Ms. Diane or Ms. Vicky.... but I love my quiet times for myself and need them too. Anyway... hubby had the TV on (shocker) and eventually it went to NCIS - our addiction for Sunday evenings. I was listening to an audible book while I worked on the diamond art so at least had my mind on other things.... but when NCIS was on... yeah, I had to turn off audible and go sit and watch NCIS. Wish Gibbs was on it, but Parker is doing ok. We have just been spoiled with Gibb's looks. Not how cute he is, but the looks he gave to his team. You know what I mean if you have watched it at all. We never did get involved with 'Origins' or whatever it was called -Gibbs in his younger life. Just NCIS. And I don't know why I'm liking that show so much... it's just one of the very few that I will stop what I'm doing to watch. While I'm crocheting, of course. Got another baby blanket about 8 rows from completion.
This coming Saturday I have Needles of Hope. The following Saturday we have 'Growth Track II' at church. That is if I remember to register for it. I did put it on my calendar with the hopes I will not forget. In fact, I think I put 3-4 things on my list that I should do today. Telling myself 'what to do', I guess is one way to put it. LOL Do I mind myself? Not often. Well, about as often as I 'mind' anyone else, I reckon. Just because I put it on my calendar doesn't mean I'm going to do it. Some things stay on my calendar for awhile.
My big brother is 'fighting rabbits' he says. He has sent me videos of one hopping across his yard. Why is he fighting them? Because he is on his third planting of his garden plants and sunflowers. His sunflowers will grow up to 14 feet tall! He has sent me photos in the past of him standing next to them. But twice now, the rabbit has invaded his garden and eaten some of the little shoots of plants.... AND has literally dug up the sunflowers he has planted and eaten them. I think I'll find a bunny rabbit (stuffed of course) and send to him for his birthday next month. I am sure he'd appreciate it. Haha. My brother is my biggest fan and is always encouraging me and surprising me with little things. I love that about him. Like I've mentioned before, he is encouraging me to learn something new every day. Looking back over this past week, I've definitely missed that challenge. I must keep my mind active - and my body as well.
Ooops!! I have allowed my time to get away from me this morning and it is 6:58am and I need to get up and get the work computer turned on and get dressed for the gym. And I want to drink my hydrogen water, and fix a protein shake - all before I go to the gym. Anyway, long story short, I need to get off here and get going. Sorry it is boring today... maybe tomorrow I will have something fun to share. Stay tuned!
Have an amazing day!
Blessings!
