Today is measure and weigh....

Yep, it's been two weeks today that I started doing 'a thing' that I am seeing some changes helping me. I will hopefully remember tomorrow to give you the results.  No, it doesn't help memory, I don't think, LOL, but it does help me think a bit more clear.  Until tomorrow on this.

I'm hoping to do a little 'project' this weekend.  Actually, I do have a few projects I need to get done this weekend, but this one is different.  Not sure when I'm going to get to it; it may have to wait for another time.  This weekend may be somewhat busy, and I keep trying to fill it up, I think!

Remember the four planters I bought that arrived a week ago?  Well, they still have not been assembled.  I haven't even taken them out of the box.  I MUST start on those tis weekend as I have plants that need to be planted.  Which also means that I need to do the Home Depot run and pick up more potting soil.  I do have one bag, but it is not enough.  May just run to Walmart; it's closer.  Miracle Gro is Miracle Gro, no matter where you pick it up at, right?  All that is usually different is the price.

I have my gym appointment at 5PM tonight with Morgan, my new trainer.  I'm a bit disappointed in that Trayden, my former trainer this past year, didn't call or text to say goodbye.  He was to leave yesterday for Wyoming.  I didn't check with him, but will this afternoon, to see if he actually got on the road yesterday.  His loss if he has without stopping by.... I think I mentioned before I made him Snickerdoodle cookies for the roadtrip; his favorite.  And they are slowing shrinking in the bag.  Not the cookies; just the number of them.  Morgan likes them too, so I may just take them to her.  Teach that whippersnapper to tell me he would stop by and then don't!

I started on the new project my big brother sent me as a surprise last night.  It's a DIY Diamond Painting something or other - but it's of The Last Supper.  It's about 3 ft long and 15" high, I'm guessing.  My daughter and I started on it last night, but there were no instructions at all so we had to google You Tube to see what to do.  It was really interesting.  We started on it, tried to do some, but.... I couldn't see the numbers for where the 'diamond beads' were to go.  It is a time-consuming project, for sure, but it will be so nice when it is completed!  I will definitely need my reading glasses on so that I can see the numbers, plus I do have my magnifying lamp that I will also be using, if needed.  I can see distance now, but close up, I'm blind without glasses.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 (NKJV):  As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

Reading that scripture, what comes to mind is that I'm pretty stupid about some things.  I don't know which way the wind blows (I may think I know, but is it swirling or blowing or what?) or what creates the wind, or even where it starts or ends.  I don't know how bones and flesh can grow within the womb, and I definitely do not know the works of God.  So I cannot claim to be so smart; and some of my actions definitely show I'm pretty stupid about some things.  Do you ever feel that way?

I was talking to my little sister yesterday and telling her about a 'stupid tax' (as Dave Ramsey calls them) I had made.  Actually, I've paid several stupid taxes lately and I just need to stop!  But this one thing.... I was going through drawers looking specifically for something and found a package.  Now as you know, I often buy things throughout the year for gifts, many being put back for Christmas.  Well, this small bag has 5 different colors of one item.  It was opened, so I figure I checked it out when I bought it; assuming I bought it before last Christmas.  But, as I looked at these items, I cannot figure out what they are!  They are like little tools of some sort in this thing that snaps so that you can carry them and it has a ring that you can put on a key ring, I think.  I didn't mess much with it yesterday as it was also a very busy day at work.  But this morning, I will take these gadgets out of that holder, and try to figure out what they are.  Stay tuned; I may figure it out, but then again, I may not.  But I call it my stupid tax for why would I buy something that I don't know what it is??  You may shake your head at me, but I'm sure you have paid some stupid tax too!

Speaking of busy at work; you won't believe now what my male boss has requested of me.  Besides giving me a contract to complete at 3:59PM last night (I told him I'd work on it first thing this morning), I glanced at my work emails (up to 20 messages!!) on my phone last night and he has asked me to reschedule his airline - which he is to be on tomorrow morning!! - for an earlier time as he has moved his meetings around so much that now he can't make the lunch meeting he had scheduled at 11AM.  I knew it was going to be close, but he pushed on it so I just shut my mouth.  Now he wants me to change his flight.  I don't think it can be done, but I will email where we have our travel done (praise God I don't deal with the actual airlines!) and see if they can get him an earlier flight - or if he is stuck with the one he chose.  He really irritates me at times, ya know?  He has thrown so much at me about this trip; I finally got the itinerary to him yesterday afternoon - AND HE STARTED MAKING CHANGES TO IT!!   I told him to STOP IT!! No, I didn't, not really.  I shut my mouth and made the calls needed to make changes so he can make his schedules.  And Colorado is one hour ahead so now he is wanting me to make sure we are on the same schedule.  Well, all he has to do is put himself on Colorado time when he gets there!  Right?  Like, look at his calendar as being an hour earlier than what it is in Colorado.  I'm so looking forward to him being out of town for two days!  And Friday, my favorite boss is taking a PTO day so I'm hoping to get some of the trainings we are mandated to take completed. They are so time-consuming.

And with all this rambling, I'm going to hush.  Hope that you have an amazing day!

Blessings!
