It was a busy day -

Yesterday was a good day.  Unfortunately, I chose to take nap versus going to see Ms. Diane, but will try to get over there this week.  She's further away now and it isn't as easy to shoot up the street 1/2 mile - now it is at least 15-20 minutes away.  Anyway - I didn't go see her but will call her later.

We went to church yesterday for another good service. There were a few testimonies to celebrate the church's 8 year anniversary.  One guy had been a drug/alcohol abuser for 28 years - and he has now been 4 months sober from both I believe it was.  Gave glory to God.  Another had growing up issues, his wife left him with young children, had a bad shoulder. He came to church for the first time about a few months back and one of the pastors prayed over him, and although he hasn't gotten it confirmed yet, is sure that his shoulder is healed for he now has range of motion and it doesn't dislocate like it did frequently. Praise God.  There were a few others as well. They baptized 50+ people after the 3rd service, but we go tot he first one and hubby said he wasn't feeling well, so we didn't go back.

Instead I had some errands to do and picked up hubby's prescription at Walgreens, then over to Walmart to pick up the daughter's prescriptions and take over to her house. While at Walmart, I did some shopping (picked up the brownie mixes) and ran into a woman by the name of Mary Ann.  I had on a t-shirt with the name of our church on it, so she started asking me about it.  We chatted for about ten minutes about the church and she said she might come.  It felt good to be able to share about a church again. Those who know me, know how much I have been anguished about churches.

I headed over to the daughter's to water her plants and feed the cats.  Chloe always comes up to me, Lily does sometimes.  Yesterday she just wanted to swat at me.  I think she's mad she had been left alone by her owners. LOL Only saw the two cats so don't know where the 3rd one is - I never see him.  Watered the plants inside and out, brought the mail in, brought a couple packages in, fed the cats, cleaned out the litter box - and off I went.  LOL  My daughter saw my hair cut on the camera.  I think she liked it.  Should Ijust say I was 'unsupervised'?  LOL

I need to make a run down to the imaging place to see if I can get a chest x-ray done today and get my mammogram scheduled.  X-rays don't require appointments so that may be 'fun' to get done... but I do need an appointment for the mammogram - but I also can't have it until the middle of October as I had the last one the first part of October sometime.  Yeah - some insurance rules that it has to be one year and one day apart for it to be considered a 'well checkup' - and I don't intend to pay for one 'just because'.

Which reminds me - I got notification last night that my labs were completed and online - need to check those out later today.  I always wish I had been eating better for the past few months to get better results - but it is what it is, right?

Hubby ended up sleeping in his chair for about an hour before I went to bed, then shortly after he woke up and came to bed, then got back up shortly after - shut the door and slept in the front room again.  Was my snoring keeping him awake?  Sigh. Hae no control over that.  I don't think that was the reason. Because I didn't make eye contact when he finally woke up this morning and brought my coffee in at 6:30AM, he stood, waiting for me to look at him, but I just said "I know you slept in the living room all night" - and he said, "yeah, I woke up with such a start at 9PM that I couldn't settle down so went back out there."  I left it there. He will be in soon to tell me the entire story/reason.

Gotta go - I didn't get online until about 6:45AM and well, it's time to start work now.  Today I have gym at 5PM so hope I have some energy left. :-)

Have an amazing day - maybe I will have something interesting to share tomorrow.

Remember, Jesus loves you.

Blessings!
