Planning Ahead

Here I am again applying for jobs online.  It only took me two hours to apply for one of them.  Sometimes the online process is much more difficult than just printing a copy of your resume and putting in the mail!  I can understand their thoughts - they can look at the resume and see if the person would be of any value and then delete it - or save to a folder - without having additional paper to file and store.  But on this end, it is difficult when you click on something and you get error messages or they want you to respond and you don't have anythng to put in that response space.

I did manage to get a blurb sent off to the church for the upcoming class on Not A Fan that I will be facilitating come August 22nd.   Scratch that one off my list.  Had to send a photo too - and they had suggested of a 'couple' one so that people could see who I'm married to.  That was more difficult for I do not like my picture taken, but finally decided on a couple we had taken in Indiana in May.

Need to also plan ahead and get to the grocery store so that we can have things here for tomorrow.  Yep, tomorrow is the 4th of July.  With my daughter and family out of town visiting a new grandbaby, the boys are coming over here.  It will be strange for us all not to be together.   In the evening Stuart, Tom and I are heading to the Diamondbacks game.... if we have thunderstorms will they still play?  It is soooo hot and soooo muggy out!!  Sky is really cloudy today - and yes, I did see a few sprinkles this morning in the pool.  Only a few, but it was for me.  It was in answer to a prayer this morning.  I love it when God does 'just enough' to remind me He's in charge.

Guess I need to close this off and get my list together.  I don't like being in crowds and am sure the stores will be packed later on this afternoon.   If I go now, I can perhaps avoid some of that.   Maybe I will make some of my salsa.  Will have to think on that.

Hope that you you have a safe and happy July 4th.  Thank you to all the veterans and those who serve our country.  It is because of you we are free.  I thank God for you.

Blessings!
