Ah.... what shall I write about today? I've sat here for about 30 seconds, thinking of something to write about, and I am drawing a blank. Oh I know there are things I could write about, many things I should NOT, some I've been asked NOT to share.... but I'm in that 'la la' land of nothing right at the moment.
But then... I think of this new song that is out that I really love. I love it so much that even though I haven't heard it for a few days, about 3:45AM this morning the song came to mind and I began to pray the song over each of my children and grandchildren by name. And I loved every minute of speaking their names and bringing them before my Lord Jesus Christ. I even prayed over each of my siblings and some of their children - and I did it all before my feet hit the floor this morning! And it felt so good! The song?
There are actually two songs that are very similar. I love the one by Katy Nichols "In Jesus Name" and I love the one by Charity Gayle "I Speak Jesus". Interesting they both came out close to the same time. Listen to these words from 'In Jesus Name'..... it's only a portion of the song - bring it up and listen to it.

I know the backstory on "I Speak Jesus" as Charity Gayle was one of the worship leaders one Sunday at Free Chapel and she shared how she wrote the story. She and her husband came down with COVID, first one, then the other. Then they kept passing it back and forth and finances were tight and it just seemed so overwhelming.... so one morning she decided ENOUGH! And she began to sing and these words of speaking the name of Jesus over their lives, their health, their finances - came to her and well, this is her song.....

I didn't write down all the lyrics and I hope that you will look up the songs and listen to them. They will speak to you as well.
"I speak the name of Jesus over you..... and I spoke the names of my children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren. I spoke the name of Jesus over my spouse. I spoke the name of Jesus over my siblings. Oh that each one who knows Him not, would come to know Jesus as I know Him! To know Him as Lord and Savior! I prayed for healing, that any pain or heartache would be lifted. I prayed over finances, that needs would be met. I prayed over each one, seeking His favor for each one.
And I believe He will answer. Not in my timing, but in His. Jesus knows what the real need is. And the real need is Him.
What about you? Are you ready to speak the name of Jesus over your spouse, over your children, over your family? Can I just suggest something?
Get up out of your chair and walk through your house. As you go through each room, speak the name of Jesus in to that room, and ask Him to fill it with His peace, His presence. Do it, don't delay. Feel the peace that settles within your home. Pray for your family. Pray for your spouse. Pray even for yourself, that you will believe in the impossible, because Jesus makes all things possible.
