What does that mean? I see these words on a piece of paper that I printed an article on. That is how the article about dealing with overwhelming workload ended. But, again, what does that mean? I'm sure each of us have our own interpretation of what that could mean.... and for something to write this morning, I will give you mine.
Love life. God says that we should choose life. So, if we choose life, should we not also love life? Not just 'life' in general, but our lives. How many people just give up on life. I know I have personally said many, many times - "I dislike my life very much" - in fact, I've said it recently. Why do I say that? It isn't my 'life' that I dislike, but the atmosphere in which I am forced to live. Enough said. But I do love my life. My life is good. I just don't like the restrictions.
Do Good. I think I do good - most times, anyway. We should always strive to 'do good' to others. In turn, others 'do good' to us. I think I mentioned last month that our big TV went out on New Years Day. Hubby and I were saving our money from speaking engagements and figured about April we would have enough saved to purchase a replacement. Last week I got a text and an email from someone - they had decided to buy us a new TV to replace the 10 year old one we had that went out. This new 50" flatscreen TV should arrive today. Hubby is over the top excited. I am feeling loved and blessed. Someone did 'good' to us. I love it. I enjoy doing things for others - and I also love being on the receiving end at times. Some times it is humbling (as in this case), but I do feel loved as well.
Live Well. I think we all have our own interpretation of that. What does 'live well' mean? I think of living comfortable, meaning that I have enough to meet our needs, that we have enough to help others, that we can give as much as we desire, as much as we need to, without it changing our lives. Although we have too much and can always cut back. And I do still want to 'declutter'!
So there you have it. Actually I don't know how thought provoking those thoughts are as I'm also sending corporate emails about a meeting today in between sentences. Distraction does cause some thoughts to go awry.
So think about those words today and look at your own life and see what you feel about it. Do you love life? Do you do good? Do you live well? If not, what do you need to change?
Have a love life, do good, live well day!
Blessings!
