New 'toy' has hubby facinated... I think...

I purchased an oximeter for hubby because he has been so concerned that his oxygen level in his blood has been 92 instead of 95, which the urgent care doctor told him it should be.  It arrived yesterday and I can't tell you how many times he has checked it.  When we first got it, he immediately checked it and it was 95.  Yay.  Right where the urgent care doctor said it should be.  That should bring relief, yes?

Well, perhaps for most people.   But let's check it periodically to see how it goes.

Finally I put it away in the closet last night, thinking that 'at last' he has proven to himself that it will be at 95 as it should.

But that was before this morning.

First thing.  "Where did you put that thing?"  In the hall closet.  I hear him go and get it.  After I come out of my room, having m quiet time, he tells me....

I was wondering what it would be this morning and it was 96, so I took it again and it went back down to 95.  But I think I'm still having trouble breathing.

Sigh.

I go fix breakfast - which makes him very happy.  We go to donate blood early this afternoon so knew we needed to have a good meal before going.  So I scrambled up some eggs, onion, peppers, potatoes, cilantro, tomatoes and cheese, and bacon.  I think we're good to go.

And he continues to check his oxygen level.  Well, all I can say, is that I'm getting my $20 worth for what it cost.

And I think he is ok.  He says his breathing is getting better, but it isn't where it should be.  Of course I am holding my tongue that if we (both) lost about 10 pounds off the belly, it would probably help immensely.  But I don't go there.

Just a short update today - have sermons to work on today and I need to make a run to Hobby Lobby for yarn.  Hopefully they will have what I want.

Blessings on your day!
