Did you feel it?

I prayed for you this morning....whether you know me or not.  I did. I asked God to bring healing and wholeness, but I also asked Him to bring you peace and comfort.  Just wondering if you felt His presence this morning..... :-)  God is good.  Always.

It's Saturday morning and I love when we have nothing going on and I can just chill in here.  Finished my coffee already as I've been in here a few hours, and hubby brought my coffee some time ago.  Thinking about trying to bake my eggs ole' in my electric skillet, since I still do not have an oven or stove. Sigh. Hubby did call last week and they told him that the part has been completed.......but it is still in Chicago (have I already told you this?) and no answer as to when they will send it back.  In the meantime.... going on two months, I think.... we wait.

Eggs ole' sounds good, and I can use up some of these eggs I still have.  Yes, still about 6 dozen or so.  I can use up 10 with making one batch of the egg dish.  Actually I use a dozen when I make just one batch.  But then, what if I actually followed the recipe - would it be better?  Maybe I will try that!

Morgan did a 'number' on my leg workout Thursday morning!  My legs were so sore last night that I could barely walk.  I MADE hubby go with me to Sams Club yesterday.  Really didn't NEED anything, but I told him he was going.  He had told me 'no' when I had asked him.  But I told him he was going - and you know what?  He got up and went with me!  Why?  Because I told him he needed to walk!  He walks from the car to wherever he is going - but that isn't enough.  So I have decided to start 'pushing' him to walk a bit more.  Unfortunately, that eliminates some of my 'alone' time, so may need to think about that. Haha  Anyway - my legs were so sore, I noticed I started to stumble once while in Sams Club - I was walking very stiffly.  Today they are still sore, but I took an Excedrin (I couldn't find the ibuprofen (which would have been better) so I'm hoping that the stiffness and soreness will abate somewhat.  I have lots of things I'm wanting to get done today!

I'm hoping I will at least do SOME of the things I want to get done today.  As I was writing in my journal this morning I kept thinking of things I SHOULD do.... and I don't want to spend the day sitting on the couch - or even a lot of time on the diamond art project.  (I am about halfway on the diamond art project, but have others I want to do as well!)  I have been looking around this chair here in my room.  I have books and 'stuff' all around it.  My bookcase is a mess (again).  My other desk in here is loaded down with 'stuff'.  Yeah, I think I will work in here today.  My son saw how cluttered it was the other day - maybe 'next time' (if there is one), he will notice the difference.  I know, I complain about the clutter in here all the time, don't I?  It's about time I do something about it - right?

I also want to enroll in a PowerPoint class.  I use PowerPoint for work, but nothing extravagant with it. My older brother is encouraging me to sign up and learn, just for the purpose of learning - and has even sent me links that I can sign up - for free!  He has made it a point to learn something new every day.  He signed up at a college to learn AI - and has finished one course, and has signed up for another already.  He finally quit asking me if I had started the class yet.  Sigh. Of course not. I'm a procrastinator.  I admit it.  But my brother has challenged me to learn something new every day (keeps the mind active and keeps you moving!) so I need to do SOMETHING new.  Would cleaning my room count as 'new'? Probably not, huh.

And.... I'm out of things to share this morning - at least at this moment.  Rather than sit here and just 'think' of what to do, I need to get up and just start doing!  My favorite thing to do would be to bake cookies, but that's not going to happen right now, so I suppose I need to get off here and just go do what it is I need to do.

Praying that you have an amazing day and that you find something you want to learn today. (Just happened to think; I believe my oldest son taught himself how to use Excel.... I may need to call on him - that's another one I would like to learn - how to do spreadsheets for myself - not for work.  Therefore, not a priority at all.  I use PPT at work so that is more of a priority. I know the basics, so not really a priority.  Anyway - I'm off here - do something fun today!

Blessings!
